I think asl can do it? Its a bit more than a line out converter, but puts out a higher quality signal.

But if your going to eventually do speakers/more amps aswell, its the way to go

I been there done that and the sound quality just isnt right with a converter.. not sure bout the RCA outs though.. but even so, you are still limited to what the icc can do.. You can still get some ok quality without it but you wont be getting the most out of your components.
WYNDUP Member 21 Member For: 15y 5m 29d Posted 07/02/10 06:36 AM Author Share Posted 07/02/10 06:36 AM im just installing a sub for now, im happy with how the stock stereo is not a big fan of overley done sound systems, subs just a cheap unit anyways so I dont think ill bother with too much mucking around, I might just go with the converter for now, instead of running around and sending off the ICC, maybe down the track if I upgrade the stereo then ill probs follow your steps guys, with installing a head unit and going all out, but for now just a quick solution will probs have to do, thanks again guys always helpfull

I had subs and amps from my old car to put into the T.. I didnt want to run a head unit, cause I wanted to keep it looking stock inside.. So I got an Alpine LLC(line level converter), that was rubbish, only cost $50 though... Then I read that an AudiControl LC6i, was one of the best LLC out. So I get one for about $200 I think, and it was good, but my bass was lacking and no matter how I set it up I couldnt get my system sounding like it did in the old car.. So I though f*ck it, and got myself a head unit and havent looked back and could have saved myself around $350 factoring in install and bits and pieces... My 2c... Check out my install to give you an idea.. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/Head-Unit-Installed-t53255.html&p=799154&hl=head+unit&fromsearch=1#entry799154
