...Weapon X came on and made a cock of himself and was banned I think?

:spit:

Weapon X = NOS XR, previously banned for dodgy behaviour.

Hiro Performance can provide WEAPON X coil packs.

Would love to know more of the story about "dodgy behaivour". Sounds good.

We are going to be trialing a set on typhoon freaks car and will let everyone know what Hi Torque have thought of them. This will be the first set they have played with. We are led to believe that they only come into their own a very high revs.

We will be selling the WEAPON X coils a fair bit less then $570.

We wont promote the product if people have had bad expieriences with them in the past but from all reports so far, no one is complaining about them (except for "dodgy behaivour".

Well I hope Tiapan motorsport aren't dodgy, have 570 of my sheckles and I'm waiting for the courier. Some good reports on these things and others so so. I must be bored as I'm replacing things for the sake of it. Coils, Springs, Tyres, and a new Dry Cell this week. These cars are more costly and tempremental than keeping a woman  , all the same dramas with just a different kind of fun and enjoyment :innocent:

I don't know Greg personally and I don't know anything of the alleged prior "dodgy" stuff. I just wanted to share my recent experience with him and Taipan. A few months back I was in contact with Greg over a 3 or 4 week period and my experience was very pleasant. In fact, customer service was way above average.

I intend to trial the Weapon X coils on my big banger project. We plan on spinning it to around 7500rpm so the reports of these working great in the higher rev range seem to suit my application. We'll see :)

I personally would vouch for Greg and Tiapan Motorsport. As Straughs has said, his customer service is always above par.

Our Weapon X coils were ordered on Monday and arrived today. They are working on another product to work with the Weapon X coils. Will release more info as it comes to hand.

Thanks Hiro F6. I don't have any issues with Greg or Tiapan, never met Greg or been to Taipan. Taipan was the first website that came up when I googled Weapon X Coils and Taipan came up near the top of the page and the name had a vauge familiarity so they got the business.

The writeups on the coils appear very favourable but they are hardly going to report anything adverse which is why I threw the question out. It is good to see the topic has bought some constructive opinions regarding Weapon X. It appears that the coils find their acclaimed superiority at high rpm, and due to the speed cams and sneaky laser armed coppers that are in plauge proportions in POITH and all over WA WA land, using high revs is a very rare occourance in my car. So long as the coils work as well as whats in the car at the moment I'll be happy.

They turned up today, six shiney black things in a box @ near $100 each, delivery time was good. I'll get them put in tomorrow and see how it goes.
