And before ENVI.BA gets off his bike..... Whilst a small percentage may display the maturity/experience to stay out of trouble.....the vast majority are just crashes looking for a place to happen. Totally agree with u there. we are not computers.. we don't do things perfectly.I found out I went to school with one of the guys who died in the accident. I was driving down that stretch of road last night around midnight and quiet a few times I found my self aqua planing even below the speed limit and with week old wheels on.Might I also add.. many exemptions have time limits that apply. IE the subject may only drive the vehicle between work hours during weekdays.. My friend is a mechanic and he can drive turbo'ed and V8 cars only between 6am and 5pm mon-friday Edited 07/02/10 08:26 AM by ENVI.BA
radiorahem Member 134 Member For: 16y 1m 12d Posted 07/02/10 09:51 AM Share Posted 07/02/10 09:51 AM in the end I spose any car at speed can be a handful so the end result to the problem is there will never be a fix. They can limit the learners/P platers to certain types of cars, a long enough stretch of road can get the car up to at least 100k'sthey can send them to the emergency rooms at the hospital for a bit of shock value do what ever. It will never ever end because these young kids will always speed thinking it will never happen to them until it does. And that goes for everyone really even somemature aged people think it will never happen and then there will be another fatal crash and another thread started, never ending cycle. Burnouts in a car park or somewhere similar, can we take those off the site before the media shines the light on us as all lunatics.
