They can't drive them on red P's but can on green P's.....stupid isn't it :turboboink:

I am of the belief that "any" P plater shouldn't be driving a performance car.

No, the high performance restriciton that applies to red P's also extends to green P's in NSW. About July 2005 is the cut off point, in terms of the restrictions applying not applying.

Must take a genius to notice the Turbo Intercooled sh*t written on the crossover pipes in the engine bay..... :turboboink:

No need, when most of them are polishing up the intercoolers like the FG's and personally the dual pipes into the single tip out the back end does it for me.

R.I.P to another group of wasted young lives.

The only common sense approach with this is to limit anyone with less than 2 years full time driving experience to a maximum of 80kW. Whether the car be a 4,6,8 or turboed or not.

The kids of today have a lot more pressure on the roads in the form of more traffic, faster around town traffic, regular road rage incidents, and much more powerful and faster cars than us older fossils had.

I started with a Ford Prefect that must have been good for 35kW. Then an assortment of Humbers, Austins and Vauxhalls etc, none had half the acceleration capabilities of even something disgusting as a Prius or a Hyundai Getz. When I finally got my first "FAST" :crybaby: car it was a Ford MK111 Zepher and that took a long long downhill run to reach a magical 80mph.

When your young, for the majority, despite what any law says; at some time or another you are most likely going to test yourself and your car and give it a hit. Couple that with a mixture of bravado, inexperience, peer pressure, testosterone and/or alcohol and you have the perfect recipe for disaster.

Absolutely disgusting.. if you cant see the link. someone made a page in memorial for the telegraph pole.

What ever the circumstance of the situation, this is not acceptable.

From the page -

"R.I.P. Great Western Highway Telephone Pole"

Please, no namecalling or childish outrage. Allow us to mourn the death of a dear irreplaceable telephone pole.
