I had a similar thing on a Hilux which had to be tilted 90degreesI dont really watch the fuel gauge on it but monitor the range, trip and avg L/100km on a long trip I get about 750km/tank and put about 75-80L in and that's running it to a range of 0 with highway (not freeway) driving.Run it down do almost 0 a couple of time and see how much petrol up put in 81L tank and a couple in the line.Hope this help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its a good idea (if you try this) to back off the flow when the tank's nearly full, or it randomly blows fuel out all over the place before the auto shutoff works. Methinks the engineer who signed off on the FG ute filler design was either pissed, hungover or recently divorced. And lucky if he didn't lose his job. Would take me ages... Hold the Pump handle not so far in and yes so the base of the handle is almost on the paintwork and it should be right!!!
