I like mechanical for some reason though. I'm guessing the worst that can happen is oil in the icc, its not going to blow over the drivers face, oranywhere dangerous that I can think of ?Just gotta keep an eye on it. Im not saying what you should do with your car but with oil id be going electric. Well actually I already have an electric oil temp gauge + mechanical boost. xrt Member 160 Member For: 16y 9m 25d Posted 09/02/10 02:00 PM Share Posted 09/02/10 02:00 PM I have mechanical cobalt gauge and electrical oil pressure gauge with a pod from rapid. I didnt even need the elbow for the boost fitting the straight fitting provided fits through the hole at the back and the spades had heaps of room. all I did was cut the threads coming out of the gauge Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/65837-cobalt-mechanical-boost-gauge-in-pp-tripod/page/2/#findComment-980051 Share on other sites

So its just a 90 degree with a barb fitting on the other side or the same sorta thing as the stock fitting with the olive thing you gotta crimp the line onto?Edit: I see what you mean, then screw you standard fitting on the the bottom of that, so when you look down through the dash where the pods sits theres alot of room directly underneath (90 degree) from the gauge?
