Brought one coil swapped it through all cylinders only one it made any difference on was 5 where it got significantly worse and 6 was probably the best.SO where here from now?? Rosie Member 361 Member For: 17y 10m 17d Posted 21/03/10 08:14 AM Share Posted 21/03/10 08:14 AM So you have replaced the stock 'in tank Pump' with a Walbro 'intank Pump'?- And your 'Base' Fuel pressure is 40?- Or maximum 40 at any RPM?I believe you need to maintain a 'Base' Fuel pressure of 50 with a rising rate, on boost, of up to 60 plus!- If this isn't happening, your Car will sufffer Fuel starvation at low RPM!* If it doesn't get over 40 at any RPM, you Pump isn't functioning properly!Are you running an after market Fuel Pressure Regulator?A good solution is the 'stock' intank Pump, linked to a 3ltr Surge Tank, with an external Bosche 044 bolted to the Surge Tank.If you go this Path, the smart solution is to get a Surge Tank capable of accepting a 'second' Bosche Pump, at a later Date, as you wind the Wick up!Just identified a 'similar' problem with my Data Logger! (I was just guessing it would be a bosch 044 I maybe wrong). He put a pressure measurer on and it was making about 40psi while struggling to idle.
