Have finally got around to doing it. Brought one coil swapped it through all cylinders only one it made any difference on was 5 where it got significantly worse and 6 was probably the best.

SO where here from now?? Would other ones be partically stuffed or do they either work or not??

Spark plugs are brand new and have only done about 500k would it be worth poping them out and seeing if I can find any tell tail signs??

Cheers Ben

p.s V8 looking better and better

so you put a new coil on 5 and your car ran worse? got me buggered whats going on there. you can either chance it and replace the rest of your coils and check plug gaps/condition or just see your tuner.

Took it to tuner he plugged it in and str8 away came up with a fuel pressure error checked the fuel pump and it was only making about 40psi so I've gone through my second walbro gss341 in about 500ks. We are going to try a pump from australia and hopefully this resolves the problem.

make sure there using the correct fuel hose. it has to be submergable. theres been a few threads on here about the wrong fuel hose being used which sh*ts itself. your tuner probably knows this but worth the ask. glad its sorted anyway mate. bloody dodgy walbros.

So you have replaced the stock 'in tank Pump' with a Walbro 'intank Pump'?

- And your 'Base' Fuel pressure is 40?

- Or maximum 40 at any RPM?

I believe you need to maintain a 'Base' Fuel pressure of 50 with a rising rate, on boost, of up to 60 plus!

- If this isn't happening, your Car will sufffer Fuel starvation at low RPM!

* If it doesn't get over 40 at any RPM, you Pump isn't functioning properly!

Are you running an after market Fuel Pressure Regulator?

A good solution is the 'stock' intank Pump, linked to a 3ltr Surge Tank, with an external Bosche 044 bolted to the Surge Tank.

If you go this Path, the smart solution is to get a Surge Tank capable of accepting a 'second' Bosche Pump, at a later Date, as you wind the Wick up!

Just identified a 'similar' problem with my Data Logger!

yea the stock intank fuel pump had been replaced by a walbro intank pump which has failed and now am waiting for another brand from australia .. (I was just guessing it would be a bosch 044 I maybe wrong). He put a pressure measurer on and it was making about 40psi while struggling to idle.
