Have destroyed 2 factory tail shafts and with the end goal for this Ba Ute to run 9 second passes went for something that will handle the punishment.

Damn never heard of anyone breaking tailshafts on a ute. What power and transmission u running?

Current Trans is a Built BTR 4 speed which changes gears within .2 of a second and fairly hard due to a 2400 stally which is to be replaced very soon with a Turbo 400. Power is 400+rwkw with 1400+Nms. After the new box goes in then a FG exhaust manifold with some porting is going on with a larger huffer.

The boys at Hardie Spicer in Mackay Built mine. The factory shafts are over 2K and they built mine for just over 1K. It's going back to them very soon to get shortened and a GM Turbo 400 Yoke installed.

They also are doing a heap of FG shafts due to them being a lot weaker than the BA/BF's sedans too. Heard that ford are replacing the FG shafts with BF ones now under warranty but at this stage are not going to do a re-call.

What type of Trans you running ? due to that making some difference.

The boys rated this 1 to 1500 hp and if you require more just go a single staft not a split, you got a Sedan or Ute.

They have shafts out there on 6 second cars.

Some more photos for you all -
