Intermittant Loss Off Boost

I have a ba mk1 5speed with I/c 10psi edit,fuel pump,cai ,every now and then ill put the foot down and the car wont go past 3-5 psi the I may park in town for a few minutes get back in drive off and the car will make 10 psi again.

sometimes it will just come good while driving.its a very random problem.ive pulled the codes out of the car and there is not anything wrong .

any ideas :bing:

Plugs, plug gaps, coils.

It was a problem with mine that took some time to work through. I also found that a visual inspection of coils showed no signs of tracking however #2 and #4 coils were grotty as in the terminals where they connect to the loom.

Faulty wastegate actuator or sticky waste gate
