So I was filling up at United just now and some guy comes up to me with a promotional pack which included:

* 3 x terry cotton cloths

* 3 x microfiber cloths

* 1 x Cleaning Wax with CARNAUBA bottle.

He gave me a demo on the car and was pretty cool. Sprayed the quater panel and rubbed over with the cotton cloth then with the microfibre and it was done. micky mouse! looked mad. Then he done the window and that was mad too. No streak marks nor any lint anywhere....then what really got me was he did my rimm. Full of brake dust. He sprays it, gives it a quick wipe with the cotton then the microfibre cloth. Looked brand new! Amazing stuff. No effort, no sitting there trying to scrub. Was cool. Best of all he says no brake dust will go back there for about 6 weeks as it has some special formulae wax etc etc.

You can do it anywhere at any time. No water / soap etc is required. Just these 3 things.

Anyways thought id throw it out there and see the outcome after I give it the once over thursday/friday night and then give it a week of driving and see how it goes. Apparently for that 6 weeks rain beeds of the car and wont mark either.

Lots of expectations.... especially for 40$.

Each can does about 6-7 full car washes, and the washed part looks good for 5-6 weeks. So when I pay 4-5$ per wash for a crappy quick once over hand wash every week... it adds up so yeah...see how we go!

unfortunately this is not the case :( it comes back after about a day or 2.. I had some people demonstrate it at a servo to me, and yeh, a day or 2 later and it was full of brake dust again

u will have to do a group buy if its good

people have been doing waterless car washes for ages and I would think its the same sort of system

doing this with a dponge and water is not going to do much less damage, you still have the wiping action

The difference is that you have a lot more water to take away the dirt, with this thing you just loosen the dirt and wipe it off. As someone said, I'd only use it if you car is already fairly clean and you want to give it a quick "wash" to keep it shiny. Would not use on a dirty car.

I've seen what people have done to their paint during times of water restrictions when they were washing with buckets.

I bought some to try it, only used it on the rims for the falcon and they look good but dont stay clean like claimed. Used it on my jeep after a weekend in the mud and it worked awesome wouldnt trust it on a car if I cared about the paint though just in case.
