LOL!! Of course the point is to get more power out of less capacity!! :stirthepot:

At the end of the day a N/A EL Falcon can tow 2.3 Tonne...... A modern Turbo is just going to do it all the easier.

For any vehicle when your towing a big, heavy load you should always excercise some semblance of mechanical sympathy both for the driveline and the brakes.

quiet you :P

that's what happens when positng before looking things up. you always see big numbers when looking at truck specs. I must have been thinking of displacement :beerchug:

anyway, I just looked at cat engines. 40-10,000KW :stupid:

Hey I agree with benny boy.My T tows my boat with no fuss at all.Having that torque down low does it easier than the boss.Like benny said. You use a bit of boost to get up to speed but when its there,it doesnt even whistle.

I have actually towed another car (braked trailer) with my ute from mt buller to mornington.

hahah my bro lost the keys while doing a bit of shredding last year and we had to spend the night in the car after breaking into it with a wire. worst night ever let me tell you. Anyway the turbo was unmodified back then but may have been running a generic (not proud of this) tune, cant remember.

Still just sat in vac down the highway and drove as if there was nothing attached. except for when it was time to stop. :buttrock:

If weight isn't good for the Turbo's, then why does nearly every truck have a turbo intercooled engine? Just curious?

Edit; Might help to read all the topic, just noticed matsfgxr6turbo's post
