Right now its got the thing sticking out of it to hook up a bov to, but im gonna get that welded up..The intake is a rubber pipe from the turbo to the area where the battery use to be and I have an air box to keep it cool, and a pod filter..Ok the question, breather hose.. Is that the little pipe that goes from the top of the engine, into the crossover just before the throttle body? Wheres the best place to connect it now with the intake im fittin up?Just want to make sure before I get stuck into it.. Almost forgot, will I need a re-tune?Cheers Mike Edited 01/02/10 06:03 AM by MiKa

I'd presume you will need to plumb the crank breather in before the turbo on the intake side, if you plumb it in after the turbo, you will push the compressed air into the crankcase (not a good thing). The car will probably run ok after you fit the plenum and new air intake, but I'd be gentle on it till you get it back onto the dyno and get things adjusted accordingly.Good luck and expect to bark a few knuckles Cheers,Ben

So a decent rubber hose should do the trick? Also if I have forgotten anything let me know.Cheers Mike..

Only other things to consider are the boost sensor on the under battery pipe and whether you want to plumb the BOV back into the intake to reduce of the ricer pssst sound.Other then that, get the afr's checked and make sure it isn't over boosting due to the engine being able to breath better making it easier to make boost.Good to see another phantom BA getting done up best colour for these things

Took me and my cousin about 4-5 hrs, inc breaks and a few trips to Bursons for bits and pieces but we got there.. It was about 30+ deg and the garage was a sauna lol.. All these bits I bought off another member so I dunno where he got them from, but most of it seems custom made.. The only thing left to do is replace the crossover, I have the pipe to do this but it doesnt connect to the stock hose comin off the ubp.. so im gonna do a few things to either modify it or replace the stock pipe completely, hence me pestering ppl for a spare lol..I've booked in a service at Pit Lane on friday and wanted it all done by then, so I can put it on the dyno and have the afr, boost etc.. checked, but doesnt look like its gonna happen, not enough time..Let me know what ya think... Didnt give it too much cause I havent run it up on a dyno yet to check how the tune is, but I cant wait to really test it out.. Up there with the best mods I have done, theres no waiting for boost, pretty much just swings to ~2000rpm and the rush begins..If my tune is fine, is there any gains to be had with a re-tune anyway, or it wouldnt make much difference? keeping in mind I still have to put on my crossover replacement pipe, which should be goin on tomorrow if everything works out..
