It is a standard Monaro with the original 186s and 4 speed still in it. It is in good original condition with no rust (no bubbles or anything coming through the original paint which is presentable but showing it's age) and it is fairly straight. It's done ~ 270,000kms and the engine, gearbox and diff are still in good working order apart from some leaks. The seats, roof lining, dash and flooring are in very good condition with the only real marks are on the kick panels and the parcel shelf had been cut to install some speakers. I purchased it in 2003 from the original owner and it has been garaged its entire life. I also have the manuals, handbooks, receipt, original number plates, venetians and louvre. The tags are all matching and never been tampered with. The only modifications I have made is putting a CD player in the glovebox and an alarm / immobiliser. Here are a couple photos that I have hosted on the net.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 01/02/10 04:31 AM Share Posted 01/02/10 04:31 AM Get rid of everything that is not std. And don't try and clean anything or fix it. They are going between 10k and 20k. Anyone paying this much for one knows WTF they are doing and will prefer the original mud on it if they can get it. You will be just throwing away bucks otherwise. I have a punter who has the 327 and he would not take anything under twenty for it.

I was thinking 20k or more, have someone putting an offer in today some time so see what happens. It is a lot harder to gauge what it is worth because it is not a GTS. I recently sold a XB GS Fairmont coupe that was far from standard and had the usual rust & wear & tear and still got $22k, so I would have thought you would definately be looking at $20k plus for yours.
