Been waiting a fair few weeks for a Malwoods O5 now, and I dont wanna wait anymore, I just wanna get the new power going through my car so I was speaking to Chris down at rapidsystems and he has quick access to textralia gear which I have heard plenty of good word about and I dont doubt there gear, as he had a twin running in his animal of an XRT.

I was wondering what kind of limits to the twin and triple are safe to, power and torque wise?

Is there alot of pressure difference in the pedal on them?

Wat is the pressure like in them, really heavy or not bad?

I can feel the standard one going in mine, its really heavy and takes the whole pedal almost to take up. I know its just about f*cked, im not really fussed because I got a nizpro S2 kit and exhaust housing and big exhaust going on soon as I can get the clutch replaced. I know my tuner wont even put it on the dyno right now, and I wouldnt bother with it either, its a ticking timebomb and wont play nicely with 350rwkw.

Thanks in advance for any answers :)

Mal is usally pretty good with replying have u tried to ring him?

Anyway either way u good they will be both good

Yeh they were really good when I was ordering, but they must just be inundated with work just coming back into the start of the year, im not sure. Anyway Im keen on getting it on the dyno so Ill be looking into these seriously next week, hopefully get one in soon.

I have the Tex twin plate - it is heavier than standard and if you drive your car everyday in city traffic I wouldn't recommend it.

It does cop a beating and will stand up to anything I throw at it - clutch re-step in 2nd or 3rd - and keep coming back with the same pedal feel as always.

If you drive in heavy traffic then I would suggest waiting for the Opt5

I dont commute in the city everyday but I drive alot around town, but that's at lesuire. Im not fussed heaps on pedal pressure, but if I can re-step second and third with it im sold (just gotta watch the tailshaft and dif now lol). Do you have the twin or triple tray, my bets is on the triple? I wonder if theres anywhere I can try one out without driving to rapid in sydney for a demo haha

Ah very nice, that's makes me happy I dont have to fork out for a bigger clutch if I decide to ever do internals/bigger turbo etc. :)
