Im about to purchase a hard lid for my white ute. I did have a soft tonneau cover so it has black bulb things on the side (outside) of the tray that holds down the soft tonneau cover.

does anyone know where to go to get these removed and the holes filled and painted and how much this would cost??

any help appreciated :)

cheers

Filled and painted would be to your favourite panelbeater...pretty involved job though I'd imagine.

You can remove them yourself by holding the lug with a pair of multi-grips and drill the rivet out. Then get some plugs from Ford to fill the gaps.

Bit of further info here for you...

Don't let go of the bulb with the multi-grips when your drilling the rivets out, will leave some nice circle scratches in your paintwork
