yeah, that's it, lol. BTW, if you're worried about that, better piss the V8 snork off 'cause the secondary intake is nice and low and will make a nice funnel should you take it swimming.

that's true but it has a filter over that and that drops into box. No way will I be chopping the airbox ! She'd f*cking kill me if it blew up ! :surrenderwave:

She has access to drugs that can kill. I don't want to test her patience ! :bopp:

We dyno tested the the XR8 intake on the FG XR6T on the dyno a couple of years ago and found the power dropped due to the XR8 intake having an opening behind the radiator(getting hotter air), gains were made using the XR8 intake as it was bigger in the opening but by blocking the opening behind the radiator and only leaving the opening over the radiator we did see some improvement.

This was the dyno comparison when I tried the two different setups.

Stock in GREEN

5rwkw roughly, that ain't bad. And it was up a bit right up to 145, I'd say that would make a little difference on the street.

Can see the pick up low down which gives better throttle response and 7hp is still 7hp mate. Also, in applications around 300rwkw, Ratter has proven on his (sorry Bels car) that it made an extra 10rwkw or 13.4hp.
