Fg Xr8 Intake On Xr6 Turbo

Hey guys appologies if this has been covered b4. I recently installed a xr8 intake on my xrt and all instalation went well except the

bonnet is very hard to close due to its larger size. The guy from spare parts said he fit one strait in on his one. Has anyone installed this? All help would

If you bought it direct from Ford it will need trimming to clear the bonnet.

It will require the seal on the bonnet to be repositioned also.

The holes in this pic are thefactory mounting holes for the seal. My seal has been moved back to where it is in the picture.

Yer I thought so, I just wasnt sure if trimming it was the right thing to do, but that's the only option really. Its just that little buldge on the inner of the bonnet that's pushing it down. Did you put a xr8 intake in yours? Any pics?

Fellas

I have an FG T and I have put the SS Induction Growler Kit on it. It allows the standard intake pipe to run into the side of the SS air box.. However I want to get the larger oversized snorkel on its own and not the air box.

Can anyone tell me where I can get this...
