Some stronger shocks - like a heavy duty Bilstein - will reduce it, however unless you have very low grip tyres or very high HP there will always be a certain amount of axle tramp. Its a hard thing to get rid of and still have a compliant suspension set-up.

The rear Bilstein shocks for utes are $550 from us plus postage or installation depending whichever you need :stupid:

I just picked up a FG XR6t sedan manual, and it tramps in the wet, although in the dry I don't have that problem, I'm looking at some new tyres (18"), any suggestions.. I heard Maxxis are good for the money, although anything at around the $300-350 mark would be OK.

Will new tyres help the situation? They have about 2000 k to go.

my manual sedan is the same, its savage in the wet, but if you kick the tail to the side it goes away... so the solution is, don't skid unless you drift!

You had me worried, my old sedan didnt do it, and I bought a new ute still not delivered. I was thinking sh*t, I cant do skids... Then I realised I never did skids in a straight line any ways. Woo hoo for skids
