It depends on the emmissions the car is producing, not really the parts fitted, I'd be more concerned by the exhaust rather than the plenum.

You'd be lucky to get a pass with a 200cpsi cat imo

I already have gone for the EPA. Currently with the gutted cat it done 91db. Legal to pass is 90. And im chasing the 100cell :) Emissions passed fine, but the noise didnt. The 100cell cant give out more then a gutted cat!

So the plenum is legal, but depends on emissions only? So you cant get defected for having the plenum by the boys in blue? Or if you got for a rwc, they wont know me back due to the aftermarket plenum?

I can't see why they would, if all the bits are plugged in ie PCV return, BOV plumbed back etc there is no difference from the factory on aside from the shape and throttle body location.

I'm impressed that the carbon emmissions were fine with a gutted cat, although I did run one for a while and didn't really ever get a fuel smell...

That sounds right to me, as long as you pass emmisions tests you should be right. But the boys in blue tend to pick on shinny objects under the hood.

so its not a rwc factor with the plenum, just an epa. Dont PW and nizpro give epa standard passes on their plenums saying they will pass emissions or? Or was I drunk.

Nizpro stage 2 kit passes emissions testing. If u get done u have to go to the likes of nizpro alliance and get them to do a retune and theyll supply u with the necessary paperwork.

ps... and by the sounds of it your drunk every minute of every day.
