Too true, but its just so nice to read anything that Iconic Neo posts. They convey such a warm and fuzzy feeling throughout the whole forum. Why not give him a nudge in the ribs and see what other gems he can bestow among us when it makes us all feel so good.

To the OP, I find that the cruise on the BA-FG Fords isn't too bad compared to other cars I have tried, particularly once you are aware of what it will/wont do.

If the hill really is that steep, I find changing down and using the engine to brake works for me and in really steep circumstances obviously use of the left pedal works. Once at the bottom of the hill engage CC once again. Too easy really, unless you expect the cruise to do something that its not really designed to do. :roflmbo:

why 8 points....isn't 1-15km over 1 points....16-29 ...3 points....30-44 4 points and 45+ 6 points....and doubled over double dermit periods...Or am I missing something.....with an automatic 3 months suspension for 30 over and 6 months for 45 over???/

Lucky you're not in Melb mate, over 45 will get you the hoon law, 12-18 months licking the windows of buses and trains, depending on the judge 8 points and $800-$1000 right out of your coin purse.bottom.gif

Yea it is typical of it to runaway. As said not enough engine braking in 6th on steep hills to keep itself there. The car just gets off the throttle and lets ya go for it. hell if its steep enough you could be doing 150k while only using 3.2l/100k talk about economy.
