I was then told that I had over tightened the nut and that this was not covered under warranty. To get the stud out, you have to remove the hub, which means that you stuff up the bearings. I was quoted $750 just for the hub and bearing. Like Wtf? Anyways I told them that I had never removed the wheel and that the twits at Midland did all the stuffing around. I went to Midland and spoke to the service manager and told him I was not paying and that this needed to be fixed asap. All I know is that they did not replace the hub or the bearing. The stud is working fine!Get that blow torch out!Or drill them out as suggested.
