So I looked underneath today,

Drain plug's as tight as, wiped away the excess oil and will monitor the leak. Still only one drop overnight.

Could it be the diff cover seal itself?

Solid :mole:

I am not sure if any of the original members in this thread are still around.

I just did mine on Friday. Seems that there are different plugs out there for the diff.

My FG needed an allen key to get the plug out of the fill hole.

The bottom sump plug for the diff is a bolt.

This thread was useful - just did mine. 2010 FG had the 10mm hex filler plug. Allen key was fouling on the sway bar (I've got a big Whiteline unit so might be different if stock). I put the Allen key in horizontally and they used a 10mm spanner on the Allen key shaft to undo the plug.

Stuff that came out looked pretty ordinary compared to the new stuff!
