Next week car is going in for tune injectors and fuel pump already have rest of the nizpro stage 2 kit fitted + 3 inch cat back exhaust - will probably remove cats before tune ( not required in nz). I'm not looking for 350rwkw or anything I'm thinking go 300 for now see how it drives and 6 months down the track I don't have to spend sh*t loads more money to make it faster just a new tune.

I have never been in a car with any real serious grunt - drove a GT a while ago with 320 flkw but it was auto didn't see that uncontrollable lol but 300rw in a manual will be different...

I think in the not so far future I will go to the strip for abit of fun - anyone got tips on getting the thing moving?? TC or off??

300 will be a piece of piss with stage 2.

If its tuned well it should have arseloads more power everywhere.

Be carefull. Most folk turn the T/C off as it can cause mechanical issues.

Just feel your way at first. Even after you`re fully used to having more power, it still needs to be respected. These cars wiegh 2 ton and if it really gets out of shape generally you won`t get it back until you strike something solid.

Having said that, you`ll love it. Enjoy.

Yep that's pretty much what I was going to do anyway. I kinda have it in my mind that it will be kinda like driving it stock in the wet but in the dry all the time (if that makes sense - does in my head) but sh*tloads faster lol

In an manual 300RWKW is a lot of fun but really is that all you are looking to achieve after spending all of that cash on a nizpro kit?

What have you done in regards to a clutch upgrade? Cant see any mention of it in your sig.

You'll get over it quickly and as soon as someone outruns you on the road you'll want more :spit:

Its only going to have cost me around 5 or 6k all up so that's not to bad I got the stage II kit 2nd hand. Clutch is stock at the moment - I think I'll run it see if it holds for abit if it doesn't I'll go straight to a exedy heavy duty cushion button I think.

Good luck with the clutch then. You are going to need it!
