why not put fpv badges on? they look better ,its a ford isnt it and its insured as a performance vehicle.I couldnt afford an original fpv but I can pay $100 for the badges.its only an brand new fg g6e turbo with 19s.anyway I got the badges off .the front is held by locating lugs on inside of grill,to unclip must remove plastic cover b/tween grill and radiator.a bit fiddly ,the rear boot badge has locating lugs and double tape used a plastic chisel to pry it off ,no damage.the back looks great ,but I might spray the front grills black to contrast .car is winter white.

Yeah I think the guys above misinterpreted, the actual Ford badges have always used lugs as you've already established! Fishing line or credit cards wouldn't be too useful for them.

Don't forget, once you've finished...

...or now even.
