how much is it leaking? mine use to do it also, my trick was to wipe it off, quickly put the garnish back on and forget about it lol

Not a lot, it will lose a teaspoon full in about 3 weeks I guess. (it sits in the little valley under the plugs)

But every so often you get a slight burning/ hot oil smell from it

and I wipe it away and its gone again for the next few weeks.

Its no big deal doing that but if its an easy fix id rather sort it out also.

ive got the same problem except mine will fill the spark plug valleys. time for a fix. look forward to any info on said job.

Ok time for an update....

I fixed the oil leaks yesterday.

I simply undid the 2 screws that hold the seals in and removed them by sliding a small flat blade screwdriver

in behind them.

I then put a light coating of Permatex Ultra Blue silicon sealant around the outside of the sealing area and slid the seals

back in and did the bolts back up.

I drove it to Sydney and back today and no more oil leaks.

Simple fix :innocent:

that'll do the trick

also, bluprinturbo, if your spark plug tubes are filling with oil, its most likely the spark plug tube seals. rocker cover has got to come off
