I spoke to Peter Garden in Perth and he told me that he uses metallic film instead of tinting. I'd just like to know what the differences are and if theres any reason to get one over the other. His pricing was roughly the same as tint a cars midnight express so pricing isn't really an issue. Also, if anyone wants to recommend someone around Perth that would be good. I've spoken to Tint A Car and Peter Garden, but I'm going to give TKO Tinting a call aswell.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 22/01/10 11:08 PM Share Posted 22/01/10 11:08 PM You put the metalic on the sides and a non metalic on the rear so it does not wreck your radio reception. Still looks the same.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 23/01/10 01:10 AM Share Posted 23/01/10 01:10 AM The metallic just reflects the UV rays better. So it keeps the car cooler and better protection from the harmful rays lol.I have the darkest tint you can get. No radio or phone problems at all.I have been pulled over a few times with it on and the boys have never said a thing.Just make sure they don't use it on the back window or you will have radio problems. No bubbles. They come from bad fitting. Mine is guaranteed for life. Any decent fitter will tell you all this. If they don't go somewhere else. cant post pic's for some stupid reason. probably metry this link 001.jpg - Windows Live
