Get under the car, two bolts holding the starter. Bottom bolt is easy, top bolt is a fiddly *beep*. Out it comes. Oh, take the wiring leads off it too. I've seen the nut on the starter come loose and cause this.Flat battery would've been my guess too.You could bridge it in the car, saves taking it out.If you do take it out remove the negative lead from the battery first.
