Ive tried most of the 'good' ones out there, dvdshrink, dvdfab and the rest, but always come back to the FREE one HANDBRAKE its called. Rips to MP4 format that will play in Windows Media Player and Windows Media Centre and most other players. Easy to use too..

Another good one was DVD Decrypter but you can't get that anymore as the bad guys shut it down...and is a bit outdated.

Can still find the older version, but wont crack most of the newer DVD encryption.

123 step solution...

1. dl and install anydvd from slysoft.

(no need for crack, after 30 days it locks out - just go into the directory and delete the CHK file - cant remember off the top of my head the full name ill get back to you)... dont bother with finding a crack no need - this works 100% perfectly until your next reboot... just leave a shortcut to the reg check folder on your desktop...

2. dl and install clone dvd from slysoft.

3. buy dual layer dvd's (that way its a 1:1 copy and not compressed)

enjoy!

:innocent:

Forget about any of the other software - really no need what so ever!

If your burning ISO files (for those that know where to source these) - use isoburn...

3 clicks and its done!

:omg:

I'm sure there's plenty of options. I just like DVDFab because the one program does it all in a couple of mouse clicks.

DVDfab for sure.

Dvdshrink is nothing special, it just reduces the size of a dvd (assuming its larger than 4.3gb) to fit on a blank dvd. Dvdfab does this automatically. Dvdshrink does not remove any encryption or region restriction (so you can watch movies from other countries without having to change the region settings on your dvd player, which you can only do 5 times).I think the company is based on some really obscure island somewhere where there is no international law.

For torrents download a program called vuze. Install it with all the default settings. Torrents are basically tiny files that contain information about where the file in question is stored (for instance a movie). It then uses this information to start downloading from other people (seeders) who have this file on their computer. If youre with exetel (and probably others) you have to be careful. There are companies out there that find out who has been "seeding" files (especially video games) and then send legal sounding notifications to the relevant isp's telling them to cut off the user in question. Exetel plays ball with these companies and has a 3 strikes youre out policy. Theres some really easy ways to get around this though, you can pm if you want to know. Make sure you only download your torrents from piratebay. Theres really no other site that comes close. ALWAYS read the comments before you download the torrents and if there arent more than at least 3 comments dont download it. Do NOT download the "toolbar" which is on offer either.. that's something the new owners have included and is bundled with spyware.
