The guy selling you the oil...?Its full syn, it can easily handle a 10k interval. Bear in mind the standard ford interval for the shitty stock oil and filter is 15k. if you follow the recommendations i put forward your filter will be changed at 33% of the for intercal and you oil at 66%. You will be running much much better oil than stock if you go RP and you changing more often than ford recommend for the stock oil.....FWIW guys that are running RP, price up a 20ltr drum of it. It works out far cheaper than buying 2 fives to do a service. Its cost more initially but pays off after the second oil change

Even if it is slight overkill...better to be cautious.

My mechanic uses it at his workshop to plug royal purple that's why I use it.It was funny to note in that article that redline was shocking and one of the dearest to buy!Obviously in that test royal purple race series oil was the winner with there 10/40 in second

It sorta reminded me of that Bitron stuff and cures cancer claims.I ended up going with Penrite Syn 15. I can always get it, I`ve used Penrite products before and found joy with them.End of the day its all down to personal choice and what makes you comfy.
