If FG there's an option to adjust the volume (but not off), but your best bet would be getting it removed if it's not hooked up. Better off without all that cr*p.But not as bad as the early nineties 626/TX5's that would beep/chime UNENDINGLY if the driver's side door was open ie if you were sitting somewhere just listening to the radio.
