Ok, I can admit it...I've done it :fool:

My wake-up call came 20 odd years ago when I put my then Falcon GT through my own besser-block and concrete front fence.....absolutely stupid thing to do, but it woke me up big time and I've never driven after more than one drink since.

There's also the factor of drugs as well Nick......

For every one that says yes.....there's probably more who've smoked, swallowed, snorted or injected something they shouldn't have and then gotten behind the wheel too'..:buttonit:

yeah some good points there guys.....about the drugs...I believe that most people that have taken drugs and driven, surely would of done it with alcohol....

If most of the other guys haven't driven drunk..don't like the chances they would of done it smashed with drugs...yeah you never know though.....lol

I admit that I got done once just after I turned 21, blew .059. Thought I would've been under but I was wrong. :buttonit: Did it a fair few times before I got caught, Haven't done it since and I leave the car at home or give the keys to my mates and tell them not to give them to me until the next day to avoid the temptation to drive home that night.

I don't drive unless I have a couple of pints in my belly... of water that is. Anyone that says they haven't had a couple and driven is full of it, unless of course they don't drink alcohol what so ever.

I've driven home few times after few drinks but I'd either stop drinking early or wait for a while until I feel like I would be under the limit before driving. Now if I really was under the limit or not can be questionable.

Been thinking of going drinking at a place that has a breathalyzer so I can see actual level at various stages or drinking.

Once I was pulled over for a RBT 10-15 after finishing 1 beer and was surprised that it didn't show anything and I thought it would show at least .02 or something.

Yeah just to stress the driving the next day is just as bad!!!!! I had a big night many years ago and at 6pm the next night got pulled over and blew over!!! I was .057. So its not just the same night. I have been done twice but have done alot of growing up since then and NEVER have more than 2 golds and drive the risks out weigh getting home.

My stupidest drink driving experience was when I was 19 on my green p's - drove to a mates place for his B'Day party (about a 2 minute drive from my house), proceeded to have many alcoholic beverages, then when it came time for everyone to head home I decided that I would too. Decided that I would be fine to drive around the corner home so I got in and off we went. One street and one corner down I'm doing ok - then I get to a T-intersection that I am very familiar with....15 minutes later I managed to see far enough down the road each way to turn out and made it home.

Once I got home (and parked lop sided in my space) I decided that I was a complete idiot and extremely lucky not to have any issues or get pulled over by the police - even though I was as drunk as a skunk I swore I would never drive after a couple of drinks again and I've never forgotten it.
