(I will be getting a stainless dump and cat for the Mild steel system as well)Appart from stainless lasting longer, what are the main advantages between both systems? I have been told the Mild system will sound a little better as the stainless system can sound a little tinny. What is everyones preference?Ben

I have a twin 2.5" redback mild. they are cheap enough to just get another if it doesnt last as long as a stainless one?....

Its usually the mufflers that rot out before the pipe goes.

But yeh, stainless is definitely the better option. Obviously, it just comes down to whether you want to spend the money.. so I'm with turbotrana
