Do ya reckon the grumpy old men realise it's just the covers that you've painted....not the actual headlight assembly?

Thanks Tab. Yeah I dunno if they realise lol, and it only takes 2 secs to get em off. Its cool though everyone is entitled to their opinion, that's why I asked. :msm:

was also thinking of doing that but not sure if its legal. does anyone no if it is legal to tint the headlight covers?

Enough cars have pop-up headlights that you can't see when they are turned off.. You wouldn't think there is a problem there..

But at night, when you can't see jacksh*t and you can't be bothered going out and taking them off then it will become a problem.. same as those that tint their taillights, obviously they think it looks good but no use when Mr Citizen takes you out and your insurance claim goes ass up..

Check with the RTA (or equivalent) though.. Their technical advisory line is pretty good...

So in the example below...who turns first in daylight given that the front indicators are obscured...

...or do you jump out, hold your finger up to the approaching vehicle in a wait a minute gesture, whip the cover off, jump back in and turn the indicator on.... :msm:
