I have a slightly used clutch out of an F6 ready to go into mine just before I start to mod and I am looking for around the same power levels as you. Stats At the moment 7 people spent more than $5000.00 (dominating vote)7 People were bored of the new found power within a month (dominating vote)7 People still have their cars in a workshop I wonder if its the same seven people I think its funny how when the power bug bites people can't help them selves, don't get me wrong if I had the dosh I would have more done too! No need to spend money replacing the factory blow off valve ( looks like you have according to your signature) at the power level you have achieved, no need for a surge tank/ bosh 044 set up when an intank Walbro would suffice ( a lot of guys find that they dont even need that in a ute) and those SS inductions kits are not the most efficient use of your cash either! The money wasted on these few items alone, along with the over inflated price that you paid for your injectors would have paid for a good cooler with appropriate piping, and an under battey CAI which would have resulted in at least a 30RWKW jump in power, less lag, better throttle response and more consistencey in power during the summer months! Brad-D Member 29 Member For: 15y 9m 25d Posted 26/01/10 02:16 AM Share Posted 26/01/10 02:16 AM I ended up spending about $6000 = 344rwkwall depends on the turner, some will say "yeah it will make 300" but for how long. As I found out choose a tuner who wants to make sure your happy and they are happy with the car. I took mine to tunehouse and after doing the work Jim insisted on putting in the fuel pump otherwise there is would of been a good chance the engine would go bang! ok cost me a little extra then what I wanted to pay but its now one hell of a car! Only installed the cooler myself so about $2000 was labour and tune was $1000Still want to spend another 3-4 to tuff up the bottom end.
