Spent bout 11g bangas to end up with 318rwkw. This includes auto rebuild, trans cooler, strengthened drive plate,2800rpm stally,Nizzy stg2 kit, fuel pump, wastegate mod, actuator and Nizzy 4in exhaust. Still running standard ba bottom end. The comment earlier bout the manual boys having to fork out for a clutch isnt as bad as the 4spd people having to rebuild their autos to handle 300+rwkw.

Hey Jaymen, just wondering about the 20% underdrive balancer - I have seen em on ebay and was

wondering if it effects your aircon, alternator and power steering??? If it still seams ok I rekon

its a great way to get an extra 10kW's! :stupid:

Oh and keep in mind guys the aim of the poll is for the cost and type of mods to reach over 300kW's,

not driveline etc... I see alot of people trade up on their intercoolers and exaust as a first option, its

just interesting as a comparison... Keep em comming... except craiginmakay your wak :fishin:

I'll give you a fishing contest fool

I've voted here, but to be fair I have a bit over 300KW at all 4 wheels in a Territory.

So the cost was a bit higher to achieve 300awkw than it would have been in a rear wheel drive car and the power is probably equvalent to mid 300rwkw.

Well then if you take the trans parts out of it,its about $8500. Fitted everything myself except for exhaust so saved a few gs their also. If you can get a nice, reliable and safe 300+rwkw in a 4spd auto for less than 5k using new parts your doing extremely well.

Hey Guys,

I don't think that I was robbed in any way but my mods cost around 11500... See the signature block but I managed to get a ton of power. Like said earlier in the thread getting from 300 and then to 350+ is a different job altogether, but you can spend 11k and still make low 300s if you want to.

My next mods will be bottom end stuff, as I will soon be looking at chasing 400-450 in the near future...

No problems with the aircon & power steering etc with the underdrive but have been told that to get rid of it if I want to see 350rwkw's so I will sell it on eBay & buy an Atomic balancer soon.

Whatever you reckon mate.

Fish away.

Your first post in this thread was that vague that people weren't even sure initially what you wanted to know.

Sorry that having the gumption to actually question you has upset you so much that you actually felt the need to single me out! NOT!! :busted1:

I've spent $5200 on power related mods, clutch not showing any signs of fatigue after 80,000k's and I like to pop it :fishin:

$900 for dekas? Jesus! Could have got em for $450 (saving you $450) plus piss off the growler saving you $585 (totally saving you $1035) and for $1159 you could have had a cold air intake, a cooler and piping. THEN you could have saved money on the Xcal 2 by buying an Xcal 1. Those mods with the cat, injectors, pump and a tune would easily have seen 330rwkw :busted1:
