They cleaned out the throttle body and carbon sprayed the engine. This fixed the problem for a day, but now it is back. They reckon it's the fuel pump causing the problem (It does make a noise whilst driving). Does this sound right? Everyone is telling me it will be the plugs or coils. Is Ford just trying to screw me over???

woofer908 Member 25 Member For: 16y 1d Posted 20/01/10 11:57 PM Author Share Posted 20/01/10 11:57 PM Now the only problem is that City Ford in Melbourne are saying that there are no fuel pumps in Australia. They said they are going to dodgy up a work order saying that my car is off the road, so they can fast track a new one or even an aftermarket one. woofer908 Member 25 Member For: 16y 1d Posted 21/01/10 12:57 AM Author Share Posted 21/01/10 12:57 AM I was thinking of just buying an aftermarket and getting them to put it in. Is it a pain in the bum to install? Save stuffing around with Ford service
