Hi Fellow XR6T, I've had my used 2008 FG XR6T for a couple of months now and I've noticed that when the car interior is hot after being parked my mono lcd screen looks smudged (for want of a better description). The display returns to normal after a while when the interior cools down. Has anyone noticed this also (or am I just lucky). Anyway, I intend bringing this up with the Ford greasemonkeys at it's 45,000k service.

yeah mine does it too.. when its flippin hot, like 40C day and its left out in the sun.. Had the press vehicle for a while; it did it too. and changed to FPV gauges and it still does it..

I'd say they all do it... I think most LCD screens do..

Mine sucks.

When I first start it up, the background is a nice white with the blue writiing and borders. but after about ten minutes driving the bloody background is green, like someone turned the lights off and no matter how much I turn up the contrast or brightness it makes no diff.

Group buy premium ICC ???

Two grand for a cheap color screen is too much.

If you upgrade your ICC to premium, what else comes with it??? dual zone ??? better pickups for the CD? anything besides a screen.

I can buy a LCD as big as my wall these days for two grand.

Thanks Chaps! I've only just seen these great replies. That's what happens when you don;t check in often. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Anyway ... Problem solved though. Upgraded to a FG Mk2 XR6T with a 8" colour phat screen. Very nice......... :imsohappy:
