took on a blown 5.0L of the line the other day, was driving in my audi s5 which is awd

must say it is very fast of the line, it was closer then any f6 has gotten to me! and it sounds bloody good!

might haveta trade the ute in for one!

Ive ridden in an s5 a few times. F6 would leave you for dead.

JD, the S5 is no slouch (I have been in one) however the quoted 0-100 km/h time for the S5 is 5.1sec and I have looked to see if there are any tests where they came in at <5sec and there is no evidence that its possible. The evidence is that they struggle to match the quoted 5.1sec time as I have seen tests at 5.2 sec.

The latest Wheels mag has a test with a G6E turbo completing the sprint in 5.1sec so if the G6E turbo matches the S5, the F6 will gobble up the S5. So unless you are only racing the F6's in the wet where you have an AWD advantage or you are racing a BA, I doubt you would beat FG F6's in the dry.

yeh the 0- 100 time in an s5 are 5.1 gt 4.9 I know all this.

im not racing up2 150 or whatever, its just green light n go, I get no wheel spin, ford wheel spins

flatten your foot and u will sit there spinning, I wouldn't,

I love my fords and by no means are saying there slow, just had a quick race that was close that's all

fyi s5 is chipped.

rolling start I wouldnt even bother, but off the line is different story

qtr mile times the s5 would loose, not trying to say my car is way faster or anything like that

all I was trying to state was they now have better delivery of their power down to the ground

and can get off the line much better then the previous,

I own and love my fg ute. not trying to take anything away from ford at all, and I know if the race had off been 120 or up it prob would have been a different story.

im not that silly to race that high coz I would be hanging my head,

maybe I should of stated that in my previous comment.

Na all good mate..... comparing AWD to RWD is completely different anyway. Off the line and rolling start are 2 different stories as I've known with my previous car. Certainly power is one thing but actually being able to use the power is another !!

Regardless both nice cars and both have their uses ! :) .

PS. Gotta take me for a spin in both your cars !!! :)

As per:

Top Gear fan acquits 'Lambo' driver

"Yesterday magistrate Michael Wheeler acquitted Mr Magistro, saying there was no way police in a Falcon could accurately determine the Lamborghini's speed. ''The police vehicle was so far behind … it was impossible to really estimate, or really guesstimate, how fast the [Lamborghini] was moving.

''With no disrespect to the Ford Falcon, could it cut the mustard with the Lamborghini being driven by the accused?'' the magistrate said. ''It couldn't even catch my car in all honesty.''"

No disrespect your magistrateness but you may want to check the numbers again...
