Guest XR09 Guests Posted 28/10/10 02:09 AM Share Posted 28/10/10 02:09 AM I was hoping we would see an improvement in the rear end. Surely their is a diff/driveline without the wide open tollerances ours have, that can at least handle a little power without the CLUNK. @ a price that won't upset the bean counters. How is the dif/drivelline set up we have now going to take the huge, and instantaneous power an S/C V8 can make ???And where is the new front control arm FPV was making....about a year ago......There ... that's my whinge and I feel better now.Oh and ps for those meant to know..... when will the dealers have the up-date for the TC/DSC ?????? pweeeeze

Posted 28/10/10 08:15 AM Share Posted 28/10/10 08:15 AM They would be crazy to release them with less power than the press cars. However come service time whats to stop a flash of the computer to down rate them to save on potential warranty items.

Posted 29/10/10 09:28 AM Share Posted 29/10/10 09:28 AM If the difference really is just 1x ECU flash away then a workshop with a GT tune should be making a mint on GS's. Would take no time at all and safe. How would warranty claims go as well? I thought the way for Ford telling its a tuned car was a larger than normal flashes log in the ECU? With no "tuning" involved there wont be a high number of reflashes.
