Also pretty sure there asembled in the HSV factory pretty much the same way I assume FPV will do theres. spoton.gif

Ah I see: "assume" and "pretty sure". I know because I see it every day.

FPV's new engine is not a post production bolt on - it is assembled as is from the start before being shipped across to Ford to be assembled into vehicles, just like the old Boss, and the turbos, and every other car we make (which is why I always laugh at those FPV owners who think they have special cars compared to those of us with Ford badges :crybaby: but I digress!)

My bad, I meant Ford factory.

I also heard a rumor the SC's will run out of puff at 10-12psi? Any truth to that?

12 psi on top of 5.0 ltrs is still going to be pretty good, we tuned a low comp 5.4 with 13 psi a couple of weeks back and it made 384 through the hi stalled auto :stirthepot:

love that the HO may come back, but who cares about the power figures ( maybe I do,300kw back in 1972)?

Its what they do down the quarter and round the track. Bullstit stops when the flag drops.

Soft rear supension As opposed to fat rears gives better traction (to a degree) but then affects cornering. So I guess we have to get a good all round car.

Or Ford release a 600kw s/c GT HO limited number (*cough Expensive Daewoo 427*) and say look what we can do.

I cant believe how much sh*t some of you blokes put on Ford. like the post a few replies back said the LS1 site are far more exited about the Gt than some of the so called Ford enthusiasts here.

and for you who think that the GT wont sell well here is a little news flash, 275 Coyote GT and GS orders have been taken so far by Ford even before its release on 5th of October and the waiting period from today stands at 12 to 16 week.

Like it was stated above this is an XR6T site so

that dosent mean you have to automatically love everything that Ford or FPV do does it?

If it wasnt for the XR6T I wouldnt have a Ford in the driveway and always have bought the car

that best suits me at the time not just because its a certain brand.

I Hope that it is an awesome package and blows everyone away.....

Just stating from my point of view that after all the waiting the on paper specs are a bit

of an anticlimax.

The Coyote has been released in the states with the option of a 328 KW version of the motor naturally aspirated.

adding a blower and gaining 7 KW dosent really blow my mind.
