Hey all,

Im having a strange problem with the T, when the car is relatively cool e.g. temp gauge at 1/4, the car runs like an animal as it should. However when the car is at normal operating temp sometimes it feels more sluggish and occasionally hesitates through the rev range or may feel restricted, TC is off of course. I am suspecting coils but I'm not sure if they would be affected by heat from the engine as the car runs fine when the engine is cooler.

Hope this is making sense???

Any ideas or anyone else have similar problem?

....maybe I just need a new plenum and IC....missus may not approve however... :fool:

There may be too much timing in it and when it gets warm it knocks.

The ECU may then pull timing to stop this. Could explain the feeling you're getting.

My '04 BA auto does the same thing. I have put it down to torque control when the engine oil is hot. I'm going to fit an external oil cooler over the next couple of weeks to see if it makes a difference.
