Cheers mate.

You would have to get Simon to tune it though, this is just a hobby for me and I don't make a living off it like the tune shops. I'll let ya know. So far so good with the ID1000's. My PCM thinks they're a 106 lb injector compared to 68.4 lb with the deka's.......so flow plenty! If you were running big power these things would be awesome since idle and light throttle fuelling would be comparable to factory.Hey Mate,Any update on the performance of the ID1000's? Was planning on going with the Deka's for my FG F6 but a lot of people are talking up the ID1000's. Do they require any spacing or modifications to fit?Ben

No problemo.

Was planning on going with the Deka's for my FG F6 but a lot of people are talking up the ID1000's. Do they require any spacing or modifications to fit?BenSo far so good :-) If you simply change the injector scaling and leave everything else factory then the ID1000's sit somewhere between the deka's and the nizpro's for idle quality. They are far better than the deka's and only slightly worse than the nizpro's. But considering they flow over 1000cc/min the idle quality in the XR6T is exceptional for an injector of this size. When they're running off the high slope scalar they are very precise...more so than both the deka's and nizpro's IMO. In regards to scaling them, they're very easy. Ford ECU calibration data is provided with the injectors, however that data isn't correct for the aussie PCM. If you use the recommended data for 4bar base fuel pressure then you need to use a 0.025 low slope (90lb) which is why I initially thought they were smaller than expected. However with a walbro and bosch 044 pump, the factory reg can't keep fuel pressure down to 4bar at idle so I have raised the deadtime adder values in the software about 6 - 7% and have leaned off the low slope to near 0.031(112lb) so that my long term fuel trim sits at 1.0 (at idle anyway....the drop in pressure once the engine is using fuel stuffs this). My high slope is sitting ~0.0295 indicating flow of 106lb or 1113 cc/min. That's big flow and massive overkill for 360rwkw which is what I have set at my max limit....but I enjoy fiddling with this stuff which is why I use them. I haven't done much with the car lately as I'm waiting on an adjustable fuel reg and I'll start playing with the fuel pressure and scaling again rather than just fudging the data. They are a very good injector but you really need to weigh up whether they're worth the money as they're about double the cost of a deka! Did your injector extenders come with filters baskets in them. I dont want to run them without filter baskets somewhere.

Ive heard that the company selling them, Yaw Power, are doing modifications to another injector.Only reason I ask is the original injector that they could be modifying is a fair bit cheaper then the ID range and if we know how they are modifying them we may be able to get the price down a fair bit.Either way, they are doing a great job when they modify them as they seem to be a great injector. I have nizpro injectors and this area is voodoo to me, so really what I would like to know is are these injectors good but there are betters out there, or should I be looking at an upgrade? I'm looking a pushing 400rwkw

T1-race development (aka Tony Palo) is the sole distributor at the moment. 1000cc is an overkill for most but there is the ID750 that I wouldn't mind trying but I can't justify the cost again simply to have a play! The tip of the injector on these things is like nothing else I've seen. It doesn't have the 4 or 6 hole configuration that we're used to on a modern injector. From what I remember it almost looks like there is a ball bearing with a continuous opening around the sides. I knew I should have taken a pic under the microscope!!Edit. Also people have been making good power on deka's and nizpro injectors for quite a few years now, so there's no need to buy these unless you require more flow.....that's when I'd go for these as Deka 80's are the other big option and are inferior to these big boys.
