Under Battery Cai

Hey.

Will Water affect or damage anything if it gets close to the pod filter? Its a Process west Under battery CAI.

Just worried cause its raining atm and also lots of puddles around. Also washing the car should I avoid water around this area?

Hope someone knows

There was one bloke on here a while back that sucked up some water but I think he hit a pretty decent amount like flowing over the road. You would think it would be fine in the rain as long as your bumper,foggy and guards are all on and you arent trying to do river crossings...

Avoid lots of water on the road. Miss very large puddles. A forum member sucked up water and killed his engine from going through some deep water.

An engine will process some water. To a degree, but as has been previously mentioned, try and steer clear of big puddles and floodways.

I have a similar problem in Kununurra Tom, but I don't have an UBP to worry about. lol

Just make sure you are aware of it and drive accordingly. :beerchug:

Cheers fella's. Yeah, trying real hard to avoid puddles. But with some of the roads in Broome its quite hard too :fool:

mmmm scary stuff with the engine dieing from water thru the CAI. Might cover the fog light area every time I clean it so the Pod can stay dry. Tommorow hopefully taking the whole front bumper off, ill have a look then. :D
