It's all hype to make a headline. Time will tell what happens.If they drop the Falcon and Expensive Daewoo stay the same, they will lose the ute market, probably Police other than the 4WD turbo versions (seen a cop in a Camry lately?), possibly the taxi market too. Add to that every one of us who wants to do burnouts in a RWD. I can't see them doing this.It is simple, if they want a "World" car, then they have to compete in the world market. BMW and Merc are still 4 door rear drive and will stay that way, Ford will need a large 4 door RWD to compete if they want to get into Europe in the large car sector. Ford definitely need a RWD sedan for the world market, although I wouldn't mind if it was smaller, I;d love an Aurion sized Falcon if it meant less weight and better handling. Something slightly smaller would sell better in Europe too.I can see Australia adopting Camry/Aurion taxis and cop cars if the Falcon gets axed. 2 weeks ago, I saw a Camry cop car in Circular Quay, I really should have taken a photo of it.
