It comes with owning an almost 600hp daily driver mate. Its not always fun but we do it because we love these things...

I didnt mean any offense to you or Nat mate was just making it very clear that I doubt it would have been one thing alone that killed your clutch and most certainly not the way you or I ever drove it.

Let us know how it goes!

Yeah all good mate I was more meaning cos I know the way her or I have driven it and you did, that for it to happen has stumped me, that's why I said if I had been thrashing it or using it on the track id understand why it has gone. She loves driving it and saw how bummed I was when we dropped it off this morning, but also how sh*tty I was knowing the bill is coming lol.

Will get it back Friday then I'll take some pics and throw it on car sales. A friend of my cousin's was interested last year so have asked my cousin to see if he's still keen. Anyway I've got a couple days to think about it so who knows.

All clutches wear out, regardles of how you drive, still going to eventually wear out.

341wkws is alot of power, and with clutches its the huge torque going through them that wears them out, you dont have to rev over 4000 to be putting the clutch at its limit.

Well got the car back from Dynomotive the other day. Ended up costing me $2000. They had a Mal Wood ACE opt 3 plus clutch in stock so the car was done later that day. Highly recommend these guys if you dont know of them, Mark took the time to really go over the problem and the main causes etc which I thought was awesome. Oddly enough though the clutch feels like a clutch out of a normal manual car, and when I asked how long it would take to get the heavy tension I had on the last one he said you won't and that how it is now is how it is meant to be. He said once the clutch gets that heavy feel then it is on it's way out. Which kind of surprised me as the old clutch felt as heavy as it did for the last 15 months that I have had the car. In anycase it feels really nice, and Im still getting used to how light it is and still tossing up whether to sell or not. Below are a few pics I took of the old clutch which you can see the blue heat burn marks and where it has been worn right down to the rivets.
