I think at less than 600rwkw, the only difference between the two is cosmetic. I love the Plazmaman products, I run one of their fuel rails and their coolers but I like the factoryish look under the bonnet

Lazy Sunday but managed to "machine" the TB surface flat. The ring will seal just need to make sure no welding excess is proud of the surface. This took about an hour with a round file and 800 grit sandpaper. Use your fingers to guide the file to prevent disturbing the ring surface. The welding was free for me but even a workshop should only charge you about $20-30. I bought a 5mm drill bit and M6 tap for $16. The place where I bought them will lend me a handle when it gets time to tap.
