I would like to go to better calipers though.

Maybe down the track so to speak. So brembos /braided lines overkill? Should just go PBR you think??
Guest XR09 Guests Posted 05/01/10 03:24 AM Share Posted 05/01/10 03:24 AM Braided lines are not going to give you any better stopping power on the road. What they do is give you a better feel. Very handy when you are running 6 pots and soft pads.If you are spending thousands on your brakes, whats $150 bucks to make it a total package.Read thisAutoSpeed - Braided Brake LinesGetting mine custom made now. If Im gunna spend $ on the brakes may as well do them right. But just cant anyone to give me a comparison between PBR m, Brembos and APs.
Guest XR09 Guests Posted 05/01/10 04:20 AM Share Posted 05/01/10 04:20 AM (edited) For mine and only mine.Brembo make the best calipers on the market. And the dearest. There rotors suck and brake pads are not much better. If you have not done a track day and are not at least at club man level your probably not going to leave braking late enough to tell the difference. You can get Brembo's on here and ebay at good prices.Go 2nd hand Brembo calipers and then fit better rotors and pads. Try for slotted rotors, not drilled. Personally I think they are better and last longer.Brett ps XRQTOR_ has some for sale Edited 05/01/10 04:33 AM by XR09

Should just go PBR you think??Brembos /braided lines is an overkill but the brakes look good.I put Brembos on my car for 70% looks and 30% for braking performance. If you put PBR brakes on you will be disappointed and then change them for brembos. Braided lines do not really give you extra braking performance, the line just doesn't expand as much so it seem to give you more power but it gives you better feel. Save the money and don't get braided lines. Then with the money you have saved, get brembos

We are working through the price list as we speak and will have a complete range available by the end of this week. I can garuntee you will not be able to get these DBA products cheaper through Repco or SuperCheap Auto. I will be supprised if you can get them from anyone cheaper. Stay tuned. My opinion, get the 2 piece rotors!!!
