Rootster, I have to agree that u would 100% no doubt look more at home in a v8. Couldn't find a better example of a square peg in a round hole haha.

But mate if it is about sound, definately give a couple of small mods a go. It can make a world of difference. I too love the sound of a v8, but I also equally love the sound of the air rushing into my big ass intercooler coupled with the bellowing groan of my 4 inch dual pipes when I get her past 2k, u can hear it 5 blocks away. Although I probably should not mention the "ghey" dose sound (in place of a blow-off valve) most people even here I think despise. Haha. But hey I love it.

And yeah, I gel my hair and wear brand clothing, and I dont get my hands dirty for a living. But when I come up against a yobbo in his v8 tractor, all noise and no go. I can be sure that the one holding the trophy and with the biggest adrenalin-induced smile at the end of that sprint is always going to be me.

ljm...yeah I know..as soon as I buy a V8..I will wish I still had my turbo.....

Been talking to injection perfection about some injectors and a tune......

At the moment I think it's losing some coolant....can smell it and think the level has dropped(but can't see it)....so off to ford it will go again...get ford to give it it's last look over and than get it tunned...And see how I feel afterwards.....Really miss the rumble of an 8...no engine sounds quite like one..

I'm happy with the turbo, most of the stuff I've said is mostly for a laugh...but really this is my first turbo car always owned 8's..might be like missing your last boyfriend or something..don't know maybe some or the forum members could tell me how that feels.....But a blown V8 is more on my mind....A new model falcon with an under bonnet blower now ....what can I say better than sex...IMO....
