Mine does it especially in normal drive mode and on a slight incline.

Im not sure if it starts in 1st in perf mode or 2nd (might be how you are driving it recently)

You can always manually shift it into 1st and take off then after selecting second gear slot it into drive.

Lads, I have something similar with the T56, on take off let the clutch out and it's though it wants to stall revs just drop, it's like a delayed response to pushing the accelerator and it decides to go, doesn't matter how much of a squirt you give it. only happens occasionally is there a solenoid for the flyby wire system that might be dirty or failing? I don't think it's my clutch as I haven't noticed it slipping in any gear at any revs

Question is: How can it be fixed?

Drive harder all the time!

Will adapt to your driving style, mine always drops back in to first in drive - except after doing around 1000km on the highway as it then reverts to 'lazy mode' and drives like a bit of a slug for a few days until it re-learns.

Otherwise you can stall it up slightly or use manual mode like Benji said

Drive in manual mode all the time, unless you are feeling lazy and dont care about how it shifts :)

Though people say it is a smart box, I just find it more fun this way, and more predictable. Also coast down hills in 4th and get .3L per 100 on the fuel readout hehehehe... fun mini game. :buttrock:

When that happens I get this pause and sudden slingshot feeling...which when turning a corner can induce wheelspin :/

Sequential Sports Shift FTW!
