Hi I was just doing my manifold bolts and noticed the bottom left bolt on the turbo/exhaust manifold is missing. Where is the best place to get them from? What size are they?

Also how do you get to the bottom left bolt?

Thanks

Michael

These always fall out, it's a stud which is threaded on both ends with an unthreaded section in the middle.

I bought from Ford, part no. is W708547S300, cost about $7.

I imagine it would be very difficult to put it on with the turbo in place.

It needs to be screwed into the exhaust manifold, turbo placed over it and then a nut needs to be tightened onto it.

Hi guys,

Driving along minding my own business and heard a bit of a strange noise. Sounded like a cross between hitting something really small on the road and someone throwing something at your car. Actually more like an exhaust manifold bolt coming loose and falling out, bouncing on the road and hitting under the chassis.

Anyway pulled stuff apart today and thought I’d ask someone for advice. I have read on other posts about "G Locks" and special locking washers. Ford wasn’t sure and neither was the fastening place I called.

The blot I have lost is circled in red. Which is about $9 from ford.

My question is. Are the bolts other posts are referring to the ones circled in green?
